Makeshift setup

This was the setup that I could make with the space I have very little space available I had to place it under my desk and drape a curtain down the side to block light.
The base is a reflective black self that is held up to level with the back of the desk by weights then i placed some paper behind the product to give a cleaner look and had a lamp directing the light towards it.

  These where two results i got without the paper that came out very bad for example the background reflected the flash back.

This was the first attempt with the paper and I positioned the product differently as well. 

This is when I put the product back in its original position.

I then just tried different angles and distances from the product.

I found my main issue was using the flash on my phone and once I turned it off the images came out better.

I chose this image because of the use of the lighting the key light makes the water droplets on the can giving the impression of it being cold and the fill light fills the shadows in giving a appearance of depth.

I chose this image because the lighting makes it seem like a high class product as if its something of a high price and is therefore desirable. The key light bounces of the front of the watch to make it pop against the black background and the fill light give the depth by filling in the shadows a bit.

I chose this image because the use of a white background makes the product appear to be something quite clean and therefore desirable. Also 

the lighting is just enough that you can get a good idea of the color of the product and the reflective back to the phone.
